These brackets were fitted to Premier bass drums from the 1970s and early 1970s, where the spurs disappeared into the drum shell. In the early 1970s Premier transitioned to the fold out 'Gull Wing' style bass drum spurs that remained on their drums throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
